For over two centuries, the debate regarding which Washington state beach, Europeans first landed on, has been volleyed between two locations. The disputed landing sites are primarily attributed to Ruby Beach, Olympic National Park (ONP) and Point Grenville, near Taholah, Washington. 

Visitors to this website, will see how the crews of the two Spanish exploration ships Santiago and Sonora, are being immortalized by mother nature. 

Our on-site explorations of both Washington locations, will assist the curious in making up their own minds.  

You get to decide, if the best historical facts favor Ruby Beach, ONP and Quillayute Needles National Wildlife Refuge.
